Attorney at law
Zuzana is an attorney at law admitted by the Czech Bar Association and founding partner of Simonovska IP. Zuzana specialises in intellectual property law, unfair competition and fashion law. She specifically deals with the complex protection of the intellectual property of her clients, advising on copyright, trademarks, domain names and designs, all regarding the marketing activities of clients. Zuzana in particular advises on trademark and industrial design registrations and management, litigation matters, preparation of contractual documents regarding all types of use and disposal of rights to intangible property, both on local and international level.
Zuzana received an LL.M. degree at the USC Gould School of Law in Los Angeles and Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) by Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law in Munich. In the field of fashion law, she completed the Fashion Law Institute’s program at Fordham University in New York and regularly attends seminars and conferences dedicated to this newly defined field of fashion law.
Zuzana contributes to both foreign and domestic publications and often speaks at conferences and seminars on intellectual property and fashion law (Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen, Masaryk University Faculty of Law, Palacky University Faculty of Law). Zuzana is a member of the Czech Bar Association, International Trademark Association (INTA) and MIPLC Alumni Network.
Mgr. Kamila Fafílková
Kamila studied law at the Masaryk University in Brno and public administration at Université de Rennes and has extensive experience with trademark administration from her previous engagement at the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic. She primarily focuses on IP portfolio management and administration and the operation of Espacenet, EUIPO and USPTO databases.
Anna studies law at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, and marketing communication & PR at the Faculty od Social Sciences, Charles University.
Anna focuses on intellectual property law and on the other remaining fields of business law. Currently she expands her knowledge at Faculté de droit de l'Université de Lausanne in the Swiss Confederation.
She is a co-founder of a successful fashion brand which is one the first on the market who brings the concept of sustainable fashion to the local fashion scene. Within her conduct of business, she uses her knowledge gained from experience in the fashion marketing and law.
Kateřina studies law at the Faculty of Law, Charles University. Her focus is on business law, with a concentration in corporate law.
She participated in the Erasmus exchange programme, where she studied at Panthéon-Assas University, in Paris. During her stay there, she expanded her sphere of knowledge in the area of French business law. In addition, she gained invaluable experience in realm of intellectual property law, domain that deeply interests her.
